We built our house in 2017/2018 with RostowBau. Mr. Wanke was our contact person in the beginning and always helped us a lot. Mr. Halberstadt was our construction manager and was our contact person during the construction period. Our construction period was 7 months. Despite a few bumps in the road during the construction phase, we were able to move into our house in August 2018 and are very happy with the decision to have built with Rostow Bau.

Today we would like to report on our positive experience with Rostow Bau. We had the pleasure of working with Mr. Kahl as a salesman and Mr. Köpp as a construction manager. The construction of our house took a total of eight months and we are extremely satisfied with the result. For the financing planning, we would like to mention the cost estimate. Not only were all the developer services listed and evaluated, but the additional construction costs and other costs were also mentioned and estimated very well. Among other things, this enabled us to plan our financing very well and knew exactly what costs we would incur. Additional services that we later added on request during the sampling were explained to us transparently. So there were no nasty surprises. Mr. Kahl was and is an extremely friendly and competent salesman who was always there to help and advise us. Mr. Köpp as a construction manager was also always a pleasant person to talk to. Despite his busy schedule, he always managed to be there for us and answer our questions. We were really impressed by the quality of the house. The tradesmen all come from the local area and were always friendly and helpful. The work was carried out very carefully, which is clearly noticeable in the results. Overall, we can fully recommend Rostow Bau. From the planning to the completion of our house, everything went well and professionally, apart from minor but normal problems. We can recommend Rostow Bau as a house building company. Positive • The construction contract with a fixed price was fair and clearly regulated • Contracts were fulfilled • Appropriate calculations in advance including making the property ready for construction and developing it, the financing amount was realistic • We like the high quality standard, the expanded clay construction method (solid, quiet, warm) and the equipment • Good advice on financing - it was strongly recommended to choose a fixed interest rate of 20 years, which from today's perspective is of course valuable advice • Our interference in the trades was seen as constructive • Good advice on making the property ready for construction and developing it • Good construction advice when taking over the house (for maintenance or subsequent projects such as exterior design) Negative • We received a demand for additional costs because Rostow had overlooked a written side agreement to the construction contract. The demand was dropped relatively quickly. We assume no intention, but it is still an unpleasant situation. • The contractually agreed construction period of 12 months could not be met because the heat pump was not available on the market. Understandable situation, but it was unpleasant that we had to pay for another solution. After some correspondence we found another solution. • The classic: communication during the construction phase could have been more proactive in some areas In the end, we are happy to have built with Rostow.

Now that we are in the final stages of completing the construction project, I can share the following experiences: 1. We had a great person in the house seller Mr. Füsser, who gave us very good advice and also supported us with help and advice during the construction phase. 2. After the contract was signed, there were minor disagreements, but these were resolved in discussions to the satisfaction of both parties. 3. The construction financing through Mr. Wanke from Rostow went well and he was always available to answer any questions. The fact that the bank has been in arrears in recent months can only be blamed on the bank. 4. With our construction manager Mr. Halberstadt, we had someone who was always available during the construction phase and had the construction project firmly under control. He managed to complete the project well before the agreed date and he was very accommodating in many ways, so that nothing stands in the way of us moving in after the house has been finally completed by Rostow. In the end, there were only minor complaints, all of which were corrected by Mr. Halberstadt. All in all, I was very satisfied and had a really beautiful and, in my opinion, very high-quality single-family home built.
